Lecture topics Include...

Internal Palestinian Politics and Conflicts - How the Palestinian Authority and Hamas hold back their own people and any hope for a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Human Rights under Abbas and Hamas - An in-depth look at the daily lives and struggles of the Palestinian people under the Palestinian Authority and Hamas regimes.

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS) - Behind the Arab League Boycott, better known as BDS and its’ bullying tactics, which ultimately harms the Palestinian people.

The Middle East and Islamic Terror - Israel has become the safest place in the Middle East for people of all faiths and nationalities, while the world around us is falling apart.

Where we are now and prospects for peace and the 2-state solution - Since the War of 1967 until 2008, there were some other possibilities to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which unfortunately has been rejected by the Palestinian leadership. If we will take, as an example, the historical visit of the former Egyptian President, Anwar Sadat, to Israel in 1977, Sadat told Arafat 'if you will come with me, you will get a state.' Not only did Arafat not go, he even considered Sadat and Israeli spy. Menahem Begin in that time, suggested to Sadat to take over Gaza. which Sadat refused. Lets take the 2000 negotiations between Arafat and Ehud Barak at Camp David, while Barak suggested 97% of the occupied territories to be handled by the PA, it was rejected. in 2008, with Ehud Olmert, the land-swap was rejected by Mahoud Abbas. Unfortunately, after 50 years, we Israelis and Palestinians are stuck nowhere because the Israeli's and Palestinians over the past 50 years, relied on the Americans and the Europeans, who not only failed to bring peace - but have also become a part in managing and contributing to the conflict. Many Palestinians believe that the 2-state solution is not viable or will be seen in their lifetimes and lately Palestinians have discussed the prospects of '2 nations in 1 homeland.'

Reflections on BDS and the Arab League Boycott - Since the Arab Spring started in in 2010, the Arab League became a rehabilitation center for handicapped people - which means that the Arab League has influence or effect on the Arabs. I remember in 1979 during one of the Arab Summit in Beirut, when the King of Morocco said 'if we the Arabs want to make peace with Israel, we must have to accept Israel as a member of the Arab league...' The Arabs in that time boycotted Morocco for making such a statement. And today we see improved ties between Israel and the Arabs, not only Egypt and Jordan, but some Gulf states in response to the U.S.-brokered Iran Nuclear deal and in response to the Islamic State.
